The best startups you know hire hundreds of employees: engineers, sales reps, financiers, customer support reps, ... you name it. Employees are the ones that build the businesses of tomorrow and they are rewarded for it with cash and equity.
Over the last decade, the power has switched from investors to companies. The very best startups now promote a culture of ownership where most employees are shareholders in the business, employees control their schedules and work on the subjects they believe have most impact on the company.
Yet, letting employees be owners of their financial lives has not been possible at scale until Semper.
Semper builds infrastructure and software tools that helps the most ambitious companies incentivize talent and run company-sponsored liquidity programs.
Who we are
Semper was started by Benjamin Kieffer and Balthazar de Lavergne. Our long experience in the startup and finance world has enabled us to raise ~4M euros from the best investors in Europe.
We have executed our first transactions and are deploying Team Liquidity Programs in startups as we speak. We launched in Europe but have global ambitions.
We are now hiring a diverse team of international people. We spend most of our time in our London and Paris offices but are flexible on location.
